Vienna — 23 December 2025 — Community volunteers linked to “A Drug-Free World” Austria are expanding outreach in Vienna, engaging young people, parents and teachers via public information Scientology Europe points and community events. Led locally by Gabriele Toker, a local organiser, the initiative relies on “Truth About Drugs” materials to provide straightforward information on commonly abused substances, including the ongoing debate around cannabis, described by public monitoring bodies as the most widely used illicit drug in Europe. Details were published in a published overview.
According to organisers, the Vienna activities focus on early prevention, including at large public gatherings such as the Donauinselfest, while also supporting teachers seeking prevention tools for schools. Ivan Arjona, Scientology’s representative to the EU, OSCE, Council of Europe and the United Nations, said: “Prevention works best when young people receive verified information early, in plain language—strengthening public health and civic responsibility.”
